With an arts scene that far outpaces its size, Sarasota is known around the world for its theaters, museums, galleries, and art/design college. Sarasota Rising was formed to unify these diverse cultural assets into a week-long, interdisciplinary arts festival. Operating as a registered 501(c)3 organization, Sarasota Rising was in need of an approachable, colorful brand; a clean, user-friendly website; a strong mailing list and newsletter campaign for area arts patrons and potential donors; a steady social media strategy that builds enthusiasm for the 2024 launch of the festival; and ancillary collateral such as business cards, brochures, fundraising invites, and more. The clean logo symbolizes the rising and setting of the sun and establishes the brand colors that permeate the organization’s marketing channels. These assets have all served to give potential donors a clear, concrete idea of the organization’s aspirations and how it will elevate an already-exceptional arts landscape. Additionally, Next-Mark collaborated with the organization on creating a name and visually connected brand for the 2024 festival: Living Arts Festival.
